Florida and Oak Mixed Use Development in Tampa

The members of CFCPD have been involved in some pretty sizable mixed use development projects which involve both residential and commercial development. The pictured Florida and Oak development unfortunately never came to fruition, but if it had it would have been a near 100 million dollar development which would have eventually spanned an entire city block and involved a massive public private partnership. The first step of the process would have been to develop the more than 30,000 square feet of residential building which is pictured plus 10,000 square feet of commercial and a full parking garage. Hillsborough County, the City of Tampa, The Salvation Army, The Brandywine Group and a few select non-profits were brought together as a coalition to make this development happen. Unfortunately, a few obstacles including a faltering real-estate market made it impossible to pull the development together.
